We changed our trading name when we acquired Sherborne ACA in February 2009. Therefore several of the awards listed below were awarded in the past trading names of companies in the Skelton Group.

Skelton Tomkinson was awarded the Lloyds List DCN “Transport and Shipping Logistics Award” in 2006 and 2007. The awards recognise the achievements of the transport and logistics, port and maritime industries’ finest practitioners.
In 2005, ST Group was also recognised at the Lloyd’s List DCN Australian Shipping and Transport Awards by winning the “Intermodal Award.” The judges gave the ST Group the award for achievement in the movement of cargo, using high levels of integration between different types of transport such as sea, rail, road or air, all of which have been customised for the earthmoving, mining and construction equipment industries.

Skelton Trucking has been listed in the BRW Fast 100 for two consecutive years. In 2007 Skelton Trucking placed 38th and in 2006 at 12th. This is a nationally outstanding achievement for Skelton Trucking.

In 2005, Skelton Tomkinson was awarded the “Queensland First Generation Family Business Award.” The award was a great honour for a growing business that includes all of its team members as family.

Skelton Tomkinson was recognised by the Logistics Association of Australia by winning the National Transport Logistics award in 2003 and 2004. The judges gave Skelton Tomkinson this award for significant achievement and innovation in urban and international transport of goods by any mode. This is "THE" award for the freight and logistics industry and Skelton Tomkinson were extremely proud to have received this recognition and be able to say that we have been judged the best in Australia by peers for two consecutive years.
